Eminem's Shady Records imprint's Shady XV album moved 148,000 units in its first week, landing at the No. 3 spot on the Billboard 200, easily ranking among the top selling hip-hop albums of the year. With features from Shady artists such as Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse rappers Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, Royce Da 5'9" and Crooked I, the album sales show that the guys from Shady Records still have one of the most dedicated fan bases in the game.

The man who still has the hip-hop album with highest first week-sales in 2014 when his Mastermind album moved 179,000 units earlier this year, Rick Ross, had the other high profile release of the week. His latest album, Hood Billionaire, didn't do quite as well as his last album, moving 79,000 units and landing at the No. 6 spot, missing out on tying DMX and Tupac's marks of two No. 1 albums in the same calendar year. T.I.'s Paperwork surprisingly lands at the No. 35 spot this week, rising 15 spots from last week, selling 20,134 copies.

Outside of the hip-hop world, Beyonce lands two albums on the charts this week, with the re-release of her eponymous 2013 album, entitled Beyonce: More Only debuting on the charts at No. 16 selling 45,467 units, and the original version of the album landing at the no. 34 spot, selling 21,348 units. To round out the charts, Chris Brown's X returns to the Top 50, landing at the No. 47 spot, selling 13,982.
