It's official, Uber has joined forces with Spotify to give customers a more personalized and feel good experience. The San Francisco based ride-sharing service and commercial music streaming service announced their partnership earlier today. The join venture will kick off this Friday (Nov. 21) in 10 cities including, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Nashville. Users will have the ability to connect their Uber and Spotify accounts while requesting a music-supportied car, which will ultimately give them the ability to control their playlists during the ride.

The option to connect your Spotify account will be available for all rides, except Uber's carpool service Uber Pool. Spotify users are also required to have a premium package account to view their playlists during the trip. Platinum account users will also receive a free trial to test out the new partnered service.
