After the behemoth that is Kendrick Lamar provided a dope performance on SNL, Nicki Minaj will now have the opportunity to topple her fellow peer. On Dec. 6, Saturday Night Live will turn into Nicki Minaj's personal playground. That's right, the "Anaconda" rapper will be back for the second time around in lieu of the release of her third album The Pinkprint.

The first time Nicki Minaj performed on the proverbial big stage was 2011, when she performed "Moment 4 Life" and "Right Thru Me." She will be joining James Franco—a familiar friend—who will be on hosting duties for the third time in his career.

In case you guys really can't wait to see Nicki perform, you can catch her this Sunday (Nov. 23) at the American Music Awards, where she will be performing her new single "Bed of Lies" with Skylar Gray.

The Pinkprint drops December 15.
