The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, New York celebrated five years in Brooklyn last night with a show that featured Houston rapper Fat Tony, Harlem's Smoke DZA and legendary Queensbridge duo Mobb Deep. Along with it being a milestone night for the venue located in Williamsburg, last night marked the 18-year anniversary of Mobb Deep's album Hell On Earth and, amazingly, what was billed as the very first performance of the QB duo in the BK borough.

Opening up the festivities was Fat Tony who performed tracks from his studio debut album, RABDARGAB and his 2013 release, Smart Ass Black Boy. The Houston MC was well-received by the Brooklyn crowd especially when he performed his verse off of A$AP Rocky's "Get Lit" track featured on the Mob member's debut mixtape Long.Live.A$AP. Following Fat Tony, the Kushed God Smoke DZA crushed the stage at the Knitting Factory bringing his Harlem sound to BK. DZA had the place rocking, performing records from Dream.ZONE.Achieve, Rugby Thompson and Rolling Stoned. DZA even performed for the new music from his R.F.C. project "The Outsiders."

The Infamous Mobb Deep closed out the show at the Knitting Factory with a set of records that have been symbolic throughout the Mobb's 20-plus year career. Prodigy and Havoc had the crowd spitting word-by-word lyrics to their classic records such as "Quiet Storm," "G.O.D. Pt. 3," "Hell On Earth" and more. One of the surprises of the night came courtesy of fellow Queensbridge rapper Nature, who performed his highly acclaimed verse from Nore's "Banned From T.V." record. Prodigy also performed for fans his solo track "Keep It Thoro" to the delight of true Mobb Deep soldiers. The QB crew finalized their set with the classic "Shook Ones," which had the entire place moving. The duo closed out the show by thanking the fans for coming out and their support throughout their careers.
