2014 XXL Freshman Lil Durk is in a bit of legal trouble after he was arrested by Chicago gang officers who were investigating a homicide yesterday morning (Nov. 5). According to a report from the Chicago Tribune, the officers went to a home while investigating a homicide and arrested Durk after they saw the "Dis Ain't What They Want" rapper standing in the living room near a kitchen island where there were two guns in plain sight.

"I got those pipes (guns) 'cause (expletive) always be tryin' to take my bands" said Durk, according to the police report.

Police seized both guns; a Glock .45-caliber handgun with a magazine and 11 live rounds and a Springfield .45 caliber handgun with a magazine and 13 live rounds. The officers knew the 22 year old rapper was a convicted felon and placed him under arrest, according to the report. He was charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and is expected to appear in bond court today.

Durk's attorney, Sam Adam Jr is confident that no gun was in his possession, “No gun was ever in the possession of Mr. Banks. At all." Durk was in legal trouble this past August. He pleaded guilty to gun possession charges and was given probation.
