When Drake dropped "Wu-Tang Forever" he generated praise from fans all over and even earned the respect of several Wu-Tang Clan members. A remix to the song was allegedly in the works, but never fell through. Verses for the highly anticipated remix were already recorded by some members of the clan while they were on tour in Europe but according to a recent MTV interview, everyone's verse just didn't mesh together.

"I guess we kind of came too hard for him. He wanted us to talk about broads, but at that time, we wasn't in a broad mode," said U-God to MTV News. "We had to write it real fast. No lie, I probably had about six hours to write this thing. At the time, I wasn’t feeling woman-y—I was feeling hard as nails. So, I wrote him a hard as nail rhyme, and he was talking about something totally different, so the subject matter didn’t really mesh."

While the remix may never see the light of day. Ghostface assures there is no bad blood between anyone and praises the OVO artist for his skills.

“I like Drake, though,” said Ghostface. “I like him because he’s pays homage. But at the end of the day, he knows how to rhyme. He’s not weak.”
