XXL spoke to A$AP Yams this week to get an update on the myriad projects that the A$AP Mob are cooking up, from sophomore albums from Rocky and Ferg to upcoming mixtapes from Nast, Ant and Twelvyy. But during our discussion, the topic turned to Rocky's new video, "Multiply," and the reasoning behind dropping it at midnight earlier this month.

"This is probably the worst year of rap music ever," Yams said candidly. "Let’s be honest. This is the worst year of rap music ever. It’s just been allegiances and people hyping shit up. Man, that shit trash."

We reported the story and asked our Twitter followers for their opinion on the year in hip-hop and whether or not it could realistically be termed the worst-ever calendar year for rap music (taking into account, of course, that the rest of the year could see further releases from Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Kendrick Lamar). Here's what you had to say.
