Kanye West Says He’s Really Proud Of Teyana Taylor During Her Album Listening Party

Last night (Oct. 20), G.O.O.D Music artist Teyana Taylor held a listening party for her upcoming album, VII, in Los Angeles. The venue was filled with celebrity friends and collaborators including Chris Brown, Big Sean, YG, Karrueche, Kim Kardashian West, Nelly, and more. The highlight of the night came when the king of rants decided to switch it up and give his artist an inspirational speech. That's right, Kanye West stole the night when he shared a few heart-felt words about Taylor and how she "busted her ass" to get to where she is today.

"Sometimes I don't talk in the most politically correct whatever the type way, but I felt like I ain't really express how proud I was, of this person, of this human being, that had the fight of this artist that's fighting to make something that she really feels, that really connects in this generation," said West.

The crowd, especially the lady of the night, loved West's kind and outspoken words of wisdom. Teyana Taylor is expected to release VII through G.O.O.D Music and Def Jam Records on Nov. 4 and is currently available for pre-order on iTunes here.
