On Tuesday (Oct. 14), Bobby Shmurda surprised everyone when he took to Instagram to vent about some financial issues. According to the video post, Shmurda made claims he wasn't being paid for his shows and even threatened to cease all upcoming performances until the money made it to his pockets. Well, according to a recent Billboard interview with his mother/manager Leslie Pollard, she says her son is still getting used to the music industry.

"It's not that he's not getting paid, it's that he's new to the business," said Pollard. "There's a chain of command that he has to go through before he gets his payment. I guess he's thinking all the money should go from the front man to his hands - it doesn't work like that. Of course they hold onto it so he actually does the show. Then it goes to his business manager, then to the touring accountant, and then to him."

Shmurda recently released his new single "Bobby B!tch" which will be featured on his upcoming EP Shmurda She Wrote. The EP is expected to hit stores on Nov. 10.
