Young Thug Says He Has No Beef With Kevin Gates

After posting Instagram videos that seemed to be associated with each other, social media quickly jumped to the conclusion there was a beef brewing between Rich Gang member Young Thug and XXL's 2014 Freshman, Kevin Gates. Well, in a recent interview with MTV News, Thugger Thugger quickly shut down those rumors stating he looks to Gates as an older "brother".

“Everything okay with Kevin; me and Kevin ain’t got no problem,” Young Thug told MTV News on Sept. 11 at a Rich Gang video shoot in Atlanta. “Everybody thinking it was me and him goin’ at each other, that’s my brother. Ain’t no problem with me and Kevin Gates, everybody just trippin’.”

Wondering what was mentioned in these Instagram posts to fuel the speculation? Initially, Gates posted a video about someone refusing to return his calls. Shortly after, Thugger Thugger posted a video going off and ended his rant with Gates's trademark line, "I don't get tired". Thus leading everyone to believe they were feuding with each other.

Gates also spoke out about the nonexistent beef to Hip-Hop Since 1987 saying, "I really don’t know what you’re talking about. That’s my little brother, God bless him, I love him.” Watch Gates below and Young Thug above.
