Back in June, Pharrell boasted about working with Snoop Dogg on his new album, calling the material "better" than his chart-topping album, G I R L. Snoop Dogg recently chopped it up with MTV News, sharing the same sentiments about working with one of the hottest producers in the game.

“It’s a great record me and Pharrell did from top to bottom. It feels good and I’m happy to be back in the studio working with one of my favorite producers and homeboys,” Snoop told MTV News on the BET Hip Hop Awards carpet. “It’s different — it’s completely different than anything we’ve ever done. It feels good, sounds good, looks good.”

The album is expected to be laced by some some of music's greats like, Stevie Wonder and Charlie Wilson. Snoop Dogg also promises an entirely fresh and new sound on the project, while still offering his genuine D-O-Double G sound.

“Snoop Dogg — he’ll be on my album. Just Snoop Dogg with two Gs, baby.”

Update (Oct 17 2014 1:28 p.m.): According to AllHipHop, Snoop's new album will be released under Pharrell's imprint, I Am & Columbia Records. The album will feature Stevie Wonder and Charlie Wilson. Pharrell will produce the album from top to bottom. This could be something special.
