Former XXL Freshman Logic is finally dropping his highly anticipated debut album this fall. Today he took to Twitter to announce the news.

"The album title and artwork came effortlessly but it was a journey getting there," said Logic via email. "I always knew I wanted that feel you see in the detail, the half dark half bright and beautiful look. The entire album is about the two sides of myself. I could have done one of two main things when creating the album."

Logic says his fans can expect for his debut to be a "classic" hip-hop album. His goal is for his fan base to "immediately know" who he is and "understand the message in my music."

He went on to add the the artwork was created by  NYC artist Sam Pratt. He said, "he recreated the place in Lenny's basement where it all started, I gave him a collection of various old photos from different angles of the old place and he got it right to every last detail, so the day one fans will remember and enjoy."

In the meantime, he has kept fans satisfied by consistently releasing new music, including his most recent track featuring Childish Gambino called “Driving Ms. Daisy.” Over the last few months the Def Jam signee has stayed busy on the road as part of the While You Wait Tour. The environment even served as the inspiration for his title track.

"As for the album titled Under Pressure is the title track on the album, I produced and wrote it while I was on tour with Kid Cudi, I had named the song under pressure on the road, but it wasn't until I came home that I realized how important the song was, it was the first song that not only began the album process but showed me the direction I was going," he said. "The song 'Under Pressure' has two parts, the first half is me being under pressure as Logic, while the second half is me being under Pressure as Bobby, so essentially the entire album is about the duality of man. Or in this case one man growing up in terrible conditions and over coming."

In June the Maryland native talked to XXL about the album. "The album is all 100 percent the story," said Logic. "Like it’s crazy. I’ve been saying with the mixtape, I’ve been telling you—you know my father and mother were both drug addicts and alcoholics, you know my dad smoked crack, you know my dad wasn’t in my life. You know my mother was stabbed, you know I came up on welfare and food stamps in Section 8. But I’m actually taking you to what it was like."

The album is expected to feature production from No I.D. and Hit-Boy.
