A controversial email sent by Bruce Levenson, the owner of the Atlanta Hawks, has not been getting the best publicity lately. Due to the immense amount of backlash Levenson received because of the racist content in the email, he has chosen to sell the team. Killer Mike recently spoke out on the matter and revealed he doesn't feel the basis of the email was racist at all.

Before apologizing for his remarks, Levenson wrote this:

"My theory is that the black crowd scared away the whites and there are simply not enough affluent black fans to build a significant season ticket base," Levenson said in the e-mail, according to TMZ. "I want some white cheerleaders ... I have even bitched that the kiss cam is too black.”

Killer Mike took to his Twitter to voice his opinion on the ordeal. The Run The Jewels rapper believes the problem is much deeper and has gone somewhat ignored by the public (both races).
