50 Cent’s Grandmother Passes Away

A major tragedy has struck 50 Cent's family this week, with the passing of his grandmother Beluah Jackson.

As is widely known, 50 Cent's father was never a part of his life, and his mother died when Fif was only 8 years old. As a result, the G-Unit rapper was effectively raised by his grandmother in South Jamaica Queens, who also raised several of Fif's cousins. Fifty stated in an 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey that his grandmother was the person that he loved the most.

The news of Jackson's passing was revealed by Fif's cousin Continental Five. 50 Cent has yet to comment on the passing of his grandmother.
