Nicki Minaj Passes Michael Jackson On Billboard Hot 100

Nicki Minaj has made history. According to Yahoo, the rap diva has surpassed the King of Pop on the Billboard Hot 100. Thanks to “Anaconda,” which debuted at N0. 19 this week, Nicki has earned her 51st Hot 100 songs. Even with Michael Jackson’s latest hit “Never Felt So Good” off of his posthumous album Xscape he only has 50.

Billboard credits Nicki’s success to her featured appearances. Her new singles “Anaconda” is her 20^th as a lead or co-lead artist on a Hot 100 hit. Jackson’s 50 hits were all as lead or co-lead.
