As fans wait patiently for Lil Wayne to release his upcoming album Tha Carter V, the YMCMB head honcho is gearing up to release the album cover on ESPN's SportsCenter later today.

Weezy relationship with athletes and ESPN has been well documented. He has had Kobe Bryant announce "Carter V Season," let Kevin Durant share the single art for "Grindin" Floyd Mayweather share a snippet of "Believe Me," and is a notorious sports buff. The NOLA spitta has been a frequent guest on ESPN. He’s been on ESPN’s First Take discussing everything in sports like the NBA FinalsKevin DurantNCAA College Final FourThe Green Bay Packers and Tim Tebow. That’s not even counting his time on Around The Horn  and his one-on-one with Randy Moss.

There is no set date on when Tha Carter V will be release. Wayne stated last month that the album may drop in fall.
