Joey Bada$$ is the latest hip-hop artist to voice his thoughts on the problems in Ferguson. During his interview with R&R the young rapper addressed the media and some of law enforcements choice tactics.

“The media is very wise on the situations that they chose to publicize,” said Joey. "Situations like that happen everyday. Like I’m sure in the last 12 hours there was someone killed by police that we will never hear of."

He believes guns are part of the problem. “Why is police walking around with military weapons?” asked the Pro Era member. "I don’t think you should have retired war veterans that is police officers. These are totally different people. Like someone could die and they like don’t give a fuck. These are people that are scarred for life. So you can’t like have a war veteran come back home from war and make him a police officer. He’s not mentally fit. Like he's trigger happy. Like he seen some shit. Like he's a specialized force.”

He said that law enforcements use of force often escalates situations and it doesn't have to.
