BET Suspends Producer Over Blue Ivy Joke

The hammer continues to come down on BET after their Blue Ivy fiasco. After witnessing the online onslaught on Karrueche, BET continues to do damage control. According to AP, BET suspended a producer after a Blue Ivy joke was made on air this past Monday (Aug. 25) on 106 & Park.

The anonymous source revealed that the suspension emanated from Karrueche's joke about Blue Ivy's hair. "I really did wake up like this, because my parents never comb my hair," said Tran in reference to Beyonce's daughter being on stage with her mother during the MTV Video Music Awards.

BET"s President of Music and Special Programming, Stephen Hill publicly apologized for the mishap.

"Last night on 106 & Park there was a stupid, unthoughtful joke made about a young child," Hill tweeted.
