Hip Hop's status as a global phenomenon can't be questioned at this point. The culture has grown from its roots in The Bronx, NY and spread around the world. A new documentary seeks to shed light on the evolution of the culture into a worldwide consciousnesses.

A Way Of Life uses first person accounts from artists around the world to tell the story of Hip Hop. Filmed over two years, the doc connected with a diverse group of artists for their stories including KRS One,Lord Finesse, Bobbito Garcia, Big Narstie, M1 of Dead Prez, Jeru The Damaja, Homeboy Sandman, Onyx, Saigon and more. In addition to the stories of the artists, A Way Of Life details the impact of the culture in countries such as Ghana, Brazil, Norway, Poland, Cambodia and Cuba as well as the implications of the genre where political unrest is prevalent.

The film, after a preview screening at the Xplosif Hip Hop Festival In Norway, is now set for a Fall 2014 release.
