Ever thought about singing a medley of classic hip hop joints to your kids? Well, that might be a possibility. Independent artist Wes Eisenhauer, who has toured with the likes of Macklemore and Atmosphere, will be releasing a nursery rhyme book entitled "Regulate: The Children's Book," citing Warren G's classic song "Regulate" as his source of inspiration.

According to Argusleader, The 1994 song caused the rapper/DJ to release a nursery book "by using the song's lyrics and juxtaposing them against nursery book-style illustration."

While many parents may be enamored with the idea of singing the old-school tune for the kids at night, Eisenhauer revealed that the lyrics may be too explicit for children to hear, let alone his own two-year old daughter.

"I might not even read her the PG-version. It's a children's book in terms of the illustrations and style," he said. "But the content is very much not child appropriate."

The story will consist of the Warren G's lyrics and tell the story verbatim, just like in his 1994 video.

Fans can also expect some interesting twists in the book. Nate Dogg's character will actually be a dog.

"His name is Nate Dogg, so I thought why not just make him a dog," Eisenhauer said.
