Troy Ave Brought Brooklyn To Rucker Park For Bacardi Flavor at the Rucker

On a crisp summer Thursday night (July 10) in Harlem at Rucker Park, Bacardi held a special event called Bacardi Flavor at the Rucker. The special guest of the night was 2014 XXL Freshman Troy Ave. The Brooklyn native performed his signature hit "Your Style" to the audience during halftime. Troy Ave is the first of three hip hop stars to attend. Red Café will be the next performer on July 31 followed by The Breakfast Club on August 7.

Bacardi Flavored Rum is hosting Flavor at the Rucker on Thursday nights through August 7th, fusing their top flavors with the best in basketball culture including appearances from hip-hop artists who have changed the game, a court design by renowned tattoo artist, Mister Cartoon and game action from New York’s best players at Rucker Park.

The game was electric as the two squads battled it out on the court. People of all ages were in attendance and one fan had the opportunity to win custom made sneakers if he made a half court shot (he didn't make it). The night ended with an amazing impromptu slam dunk competition that left the crowd on their feet. Bacardi shared the recipes of some of their signature cocktails to tastemakers prior to the show. 3 part lemonade
Pour ingredients over ice in a tall glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge.

Sneakerhead:

1 part BACARDÍ® Mango FusionTM
2 parts Angostura bitters
3 parts ginger beer
Pour ingredients over ice in a tall glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Give and Go:

1 part BACARDÍ® Dragon Berry
3 parts ginger ale
Pour ingredients over ice in a tall glass. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
