Hip-hop will be alive and well this summer, as many top artists and superstar rappers will be touring across many cities in North America. Concertgoers will get the most bang for their buck in these shows as most of them are collaborations by two major artists. Four of the top five tours of the summer currently have a secondary market average price above $200.

Despite the high average price across a lot of shows, only one of the shows is actually in the top 10 most expensive tours of the summer, which is the much-discussed Jay Z and Beyonce On The Run Tour. Justin Timberlake tickets currently rule the summer with an average price of $291.71. Katy Perry’s tour tops all other female pop artists with an average price of $250.61 and even Bruno Mars tickets, more than a year into his Moonshine Jungle Tour, have a higher average price than On The Run at $229.30. The one big difference is that On the Run is playing in 50,000-person audiences at venues like Metlife Stadium while Bruno Mars and Katy Perry are playing to smaller arena crowds at venues like TD Garden. Eminem and Rihanna are also playing larger venues, like Comerica Park. The only non-hip-hop tour playing large venues is One Direction.
