Master P has seen his far share of drama recently in regards to the divorce from his wife of 24 years Sonya Miller. After throwing out accusations of poor parenting and losing custody of his kids, The New Orleans rapper opens up about what really went down.

During an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show, P shed light on why he accused his wife of drug use as well as why he missed the custody hearing involving his younger children."I think that people got to realize that in a relationship, things happen, people grow together or they grow apart," he said. "She definitely was there. We ain’t been in a relationship in seven years. And I’m not mad at her, I love her. She’s my kids’ mother and we have to take care of our kids forever."

He also voiced that he was sorry for telling TMZ those things about his estranged wife.“I want to apologize to her, to be honest with you, because I’m not perfect, nobody’s perfect but I’m at a good stage in my life right now. I don’t have a right to say whatever she needs to do. “

In addition to offering his soon-to-be ex-wife an apology, P also spoke in depth about the care of his children. Its seems that in spite of the drama, all he wants to be is a great father.
