Expect for the Drake vs. Lil Wayne tour to be rap battle competition when it kicks off on August 8.  It’s going to be a showdown.

Weezy told MTV News that his manager Cortez Bryant came up with the battle idea, and he is excited to see where it goes.

“Since, thank god we’ve been so successful, [we'll just be] going back and forth with our hits and getting the crowd to go crazy, then just finally hit the stage together,” Wayne told MTV News on his “Krazy” video set. “It’s a battle type thing.”

The YMCMB head also confirmed that Tha Carter V will have more Drake features in addition to “Believe Me.” Nicki Minaj will also appear on the album. Tune’s Jay Z shout out on “D’Usse” has also raised speculation that he may make an appearance too. There’s no guarantee but Wayne hasn’t ruled it out.

Tha Carter V may  drop in August or September.
