The last time Jadakiss released a solo project was in 2009 with The Last Kiss and the last LOX album was in 2000 withWe Are the Streets.

Kiss confirmed back in June that Lil Wayne, Jeezy, Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, Chris Brown and maybe J.Cole or A$AP Rocky will be on his upcoming album, Top 5, Dead Or Alive. There isn't any release date on Top 5, Dead Or Alive but his forthcoming solo album will be released before the new LOX album

"Top 5, Dead Or Alive will probably drop first because of contractually obligations with Def Jam," said Jadakiss last night (July 27) at EBC America Celebrity Basketball Challenge. "It's almost finished. Then We Are the Streets 2."

Fans can expect classic Jadakiss for his fourth studio album Top 5, Dead Or Alive. "Just regular heat," said Jada. "No gimmicks, just good music. You know what Jada is going to bring to the table. No pyro, no backflips, just music you can clean up the crib to, [Music] you can ride out to or get in war mode to. Just that kind of music that aint really around. Not too much strip club anthems or that kind of stuff. I'm going to have a balance but the core of it is going to be that Jada shit."

Outside of music, Jada is enjoying life as a family man and is proud of his son Jae'won for getting into college. "Things are good right now," he said. "I got a son going to college. He's to Clark Atlanta University. I'm happy. I'm a family man as well as one of the greatest rappers. I'm elevating my life game right now. It’s a beautiful thing because your kids are your best critics. They're with the core of what's going on. When they tell you something, they're giving you they're honest opinion. That’s the luxury and pleasure of having a 17-year old kid."
