We've reached the halfway mark of the year, and only six of our 25 Most Anticipated Albums of 2014 from January have been released. YG, ScHoolboy Q, Rick Ross, Freddie Gibbs and Madlib, Future and Asher Roth all came through and delivered on their promises with big time albums that helped to define how we will remember 2014. But it's not over yet, and there's plenty more to come. As we set our sights on the second half of the year, XXL has gone through and updated every single thing we know about the 19 albums remaining from our list from the beginning of the year, and tossed in six more albums that we're looking forward to as well.

Ahead, you'll find projected release dates, sales pitches from January alongside updated information, and some brand-new, exclusive quotes from some of the artists who we're looking forward to the most. But as we stand here in early July—just as we did in January—we know one thing: in hip-hop, nothing will ever stay the same. Maybe Jeezy has Seen It All, but we know there are always more surprises yet to come. We'll be ready. Will you? —XXL Staff
