The-Dream Denies Ever Laying A Hand On His Ex-Girlfriend Lydia Nam

Atlanta producer and singer, The-Dream, has been in the headlines lately for allegedly punching, kicking and strangling his ex-girlfriend Lydia Nam. While photos of the alleged brutal attack surfaced showing scratches and bruises on Nam's body, Dream continued to deny any involvement in the attack in a recent interview with TMZ.

TMZ caught up with the newly independent artist outside of Mr. Chow on Sunday and asked if the allegations were false and The-Dream confirmed the domestic violence rumors held no validity.

"Of course they are, I'm such a lovely person," replied The-Dream.

Deportation, The-Dream believes, is the only reason why Nam is following through with the allegations. According to another TMZ report, The-Dream said she found out her Visa was about to expire but stumbled upon a loophole that allows immigrants who are crime victims to remain in the country.

Law enforcement say the assault took place in April of last year at the Plaza Hotel. Nam confirmed she waited seven months to open up about the alleged attack to protect her well being.
