Kendrick Lamar has remained pretty quiet about his follow up to good kid, M.A.A.d. city. During interview Houston’s Devi Dev, the Compton rapper managed to divulge a little information on what fans can expect from his sophomore project.

K.Dot admitted that he doesn’t feel any pressure to deliver, despite the success of his first album. He said “If I keep the same instinct, doing what makes me feel good at the moment, think its really more of an excitement to get back in the studio and do what I do.”

The Black Hippy member claims to truly be focused on right now and making sure he puts the same “110 percent” into this project as he did the last one. He expects to know the concept of his sophomore album when he finishes. It’s slated to drop this September.
