Kanye West can't even enjoy his honeymoon period without being bothered. 'Ye, as reported by RadarOnline, has been hit with a $800,000 lawsuit by Robert Poindexter, a member of the '70s-era band The Persuaders. Poindexter claims that Kanye illegally sampled the 1972 song "Trying Girls Out (the Composition)" for his Freshman Adjustment 2 cut "Girls Girls Girls (Remix)" and for Jay Z's Blueprint bonus track that goes by the same name.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, Poindexter claims that, "Kanye West has never acquired authorization from me or the copyright owners of the composition. [West] willfully infringed the composition copyright for private and financial gain by selling and distributing an untold amount of tangible and digital copies."

This is not the first time Poindexter has gone after Kanye. The singer previously attempted to sue West but the case was thrown out in January when the rapper simply refused to respond to the lawsuit. Kanye's camp has not commented on the situation.
