Ice Cube surely has a reason to celebrate, as his new film 22 Jump Street smashed the box office this weekend. Raking in over 60 million in its opening weekend, the sequel's numbers took off in just 72 hours, breaking  several records.

Aside from banking a ton, the film became the second-best opening in R-rated movie history, trailing behind 2011's The Hangover Part II, which grossed 85.9 million in its first weekend. The numbers also allotted for 22 Jump Street to become the fifth-biggest opening weekend for a comedy on record.

Congrats Ice Cube!
