Christmas in October? Well that might be the case for D'Angelo fans. Believe it or not, the legendary crooner's new album may actually surface. According to his manager, Kevin Liles, the singer's new album is slated for an October release. In addition, Liles told Billboard that D'Angelo will also kick off an international tour from October running through 2015.

"There'll be an album this year: there's 14 records so far, we might have a couple of bonus records, but all the recording is basically done and we're mixing and mastering now. Definitely, he'll be back....We'll probably start an international tour in October, we'll come back [to the States]. We're doing a James Brown tribute in August [at the Hollywood Bowl] and some one-off things. But the touring will probably start in October and 2015."

This could be something epic. Quest Love did give us a hint last month that a new project from D'Angelo would be on the way at Red Bull's Academy Talk.

D'Angelo's last project came in 2000, when he delivered his musical opus entitled Voodoo.
