In a recent interview with Hartford, Conn.'s Hot 93.7, 50 Cent announced that the official release date for his sixth-studio-album, Street King Immortal, will be Sept. 16.

The Jamaica, Queens, rapper has been keeping himself busy, pushing projects left and right to keep his name circulating in the media. With his Starz debut television series, Power, already being picked up for a second season, his fifth-studio-album Animal Ambition taking the No. 4 spot on the Billboard charts, a lackluster baseball pitch seen around the world and a recent reunion with G-Unit at this year's Summer Jam, it's hard for anyone not to talk about 50.

After being pushed back countless times, one can only hope this date actually sticks. Sept. 16 also happens to be the release date for The Game's forthcoming album, Blood Money La Familia. Coincidence? Doubtful.
