The blogs were going bonkers after August Alsina lashed out on why he and Trey Songz weren't on speaking terms. From his interview with Rap-Up, to refusing to answer a question about Trigga on 106, the newly named Freshman has had a lot of questions geared towards his beef with the "Ready" singer.

Now, after a long period of silence, Trey Songz spoke to Capital Xtra and downplayed the situation by saying there's no beef between the two singers. "We had a discrepancy and he didn’t know how to deal with that," said Trey. "He hasn’t been in the situation where he has to answer the same question a million times, that’s frustration."

Trey added that Alsina - who is a newcomer to the scene - was fuming off of frustration in regards to the heavy questioning about their feud and that everything is behind them both."He probably said some things he really didn’t mean. Out of pressure. I really care about him. He got a lot going on in his life outside of music and I know that about him. So, I didn’t feel the need to speak out against him."

Asides from the "beef" with Alsina, Trey has been prepping for his new album, Trigga, which is slated to be in stores July 1st.
