G-Eazy Delivers Breaking News In “I Mean It” Video

G-Eazy’s These Things Happen is coming in weeks, and the anticipation increases a bit with the release of the music video for “I Mean It.” In the Bobby Bruderle-directed clip, G-Eazy plays a news anchor who delivers the breaking news story of the hour: He may have had sex with your girl. And if he says so, he means it. The West Coast rapper also lip syncs Remo’s warbling voice on the hook, which looks awkward, but also adds a fun element to it.

These Things Happen, which features “I Mean It,” will drop on June 23.—Brian Josephs
