my favorite Outkast song is “Players Ball “ version that came out as the single first. its the first Outkast song i ever heard. i was hookedMulti-talented DJ and producer Statik Selektah has been on a tear. In the past year, Statik has done countless club DJ sets both in the States and overseas, went on a nationwide tour with Pro Era, put out The Proposal, a collab album with Ransom, and released Extended Play which included features from Raekwon, Ab-Soul, Action Bronson, and Black Thought amongst many others.
The New England native shows no signs of slowing down and it was announced yesterday via Duck Down’s Twitter that Statik Selektah will release his next album What Goes Around… August 19. Sure to feature established and bubbling underground artists, Statik Selektah will surely come through for fans hungry for the boom-bap sound.—Peter Walsh
