Lil Boosie is a busy man now that he’s out the penn. Since being freed in March, after serving four years at Angola State Penitentiary,the rapper has had a welcome home show, a new collaboration with K. Michelle and whirlwind media tour to keep him occupied. Now with his feet back on the ground he's ready to make some music.

The former XXL Freshman announced the title of his forthcoming album during an appearance on “106 & Park”. The new project, called Touchdown 2 Cause Hell, is set for July 15.

While on “106” he talked of how he would be pulling from a wealth of material to put together a classic album. “You just gotta pick the most explosive records that going to make this the best album in 10, 20 years,” explained Boosie.

The project, which is Boosie’s first post-prison release, will also be accompanied by a tour of the same name that starts in May.-G. Valentino Ball
