Very little details is known about Kanye West new album. He recently pushed back the dates for his Australian tour so he can finish up his seventh solo studio album. A statement released by Live Nation Australasia said “Due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album, scheduled for a 2014 release, Kanye West regretfully announces the postponement of his upcoming tour dates in Australia.”

Q-tip is also apart of this album as he said in Dec. 2013 that he is "producing Kanye’s new album with Rick Rubin." Now producer Evian Christ, who worked on Yeezus, talked to Self-titled about contributing to the new Kanye album. "I’ve got to get home and write an Otis Redding–style beat for him," says Christ. "[Kanye] e-mailed last night. He wants something that sounds a bit like Otis Redding, a bit like Mobb Deep."He continues on to say, "Kanye is the one dude who’s like, 'This is not experimental enough. This is too poppy. Make something else. The other guys are like, 'We don’t get it.'"
