DJ Rashad Autopsy Returns Inconclusive

Authorities are unsure what caused the death Rashad “DJ Rashad” Harden.

The producer and DJ best known for putting Chicago “footwork” music on the map was found dead over the weekend in his Southwest Chicago home from what authorities initially announced was a drug overdose, but now his autopsy proves otherwise.

On Sunday the Cook County medical examiner’s office found Harden’s autopsy results to be inconclusive. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that examiners are currently conducting toxicology studies to figure out the exact cause of death.

Chicago Police assume that Harden’s death was due to drug overdose due to the drug paraphernalia they found near is body and lack visible injury.—Chris M. Garner
