Fans were in a frenzy yesterday after Kobe Bryant tweeted a picture of Tha Carter V, suggesting that it was Lil Wayne's potential album cover. However, Wayne's manager, Cortez Bryant cleared the confusion and dismissed the tweet by reiterating that the image wasn't the cover art and that its intent was just to let people know that Weezy season was drawing near.

"The Image that was posted yesterday is NOT the #carterV album cover! It's just to let the @LilTunechi fans know that CarterV Season is here," Bryant says.

Kobe's tweet yesterday was an image with a caption reading: "Carter V season begins #carterV". This prompted Wayne to respond to the picture by saying, "Believe Me."

Recently, Wayne was photographed in the studio with Mannie Fresh, illustrating that the two were cooking something up in the lab, perhaps for Tha Carter V.
