Good news for Frank Ocean fans. The Odd Future member is back in the studio and is working on his sophomore album. Nabil Elderkin posted a picture on his Instagram of Ocean in the studio last nighht. The caption read "Frank in the lab.. Making sophomore album game."

Back in Feb. 2013 Frank spoke to BC Radio 1's Zane Lowe and said that he's 10 songs deep into his sophomore album. Ocean debuted three new songs in Germany when he kicked off his You’re Not Dead tour in Munich, Germany in July 2013. Soon after Ocean had a huge setback when suffered a small tear in his vocal chords while on tour in Australia. He was forced to cancel the rest of the tour. He declared on his Twitter that he’s officially “back to work” in November 2013.

Frank Ocean's debut album Channel Orange was received well by just about everyone when it was released in July 2012. It debut No. 2 on the charts and went gold in 2013.
