Good Day New York commemorated the 40 years of hip-hop on Thursday morning with host  Lisa Evers. The newscast started with a look at the history of the culture, which not only includes rapping and DJing, but also break dancing and graffiti art. Among the guests were DJ Kool Herc (originator in hip-hop), Ralph McDaniels (created Video Music Box), Biz Markie  and James Top (NYC Graffiti Hall of Fame) and Naughty by Nature performed.
