Wiz Khalifa is not only excited to perform alongside OutKast during their festival tour this year, but the Taylor Gang head-honcho is also looking forward to watching the duo live for the first time.

In an interview with MTV, Wiz thanks Big Boi and Andre 3000 for giving him and fellow fans a chance to witness the ATLiens run through their classic records.

In his own words: "I've never got a chance to see OutKast live, ever. It's really good seeing them working together and providing this experience with fans and people who've been wanting to see them for years and years and years so, it was bound to happen."

Khalifa also reflected on his childhood, which according to the MC consisted of listening to a lot of OutKast with his mother. The marijuana enthusiast explains the experience here: "My favorite memories of OutKast definitely come from my mom because she played so much of their music and it wasn't like they were old to me because OutKast was hella relevant, but it was like my mom loved OutKast as much as I did so it tripped my out because we could share that CD. We shared a lot of CDs, but that was one of her favorite ones and then when they started elevating their minds and doing other things, she was a part of that."
