Sources connected with the 18-year-old Kanye West reportedly pummeled inside a chiropractor's waiting room, tells TMZ that he seeks to strike a civil settlement of several hundred thousand dollars.

Adamant about not wanting to endure a public trial, the 18-year-old has not been responsive with the police since his brutal encounter with Kanye, but avoiding a criminal trial comes with a hefty price.

Although eyewitnesses in the Beverly Hill's chiropractor's office say the rapper beat up the guy, no apparent injuries have been reported.

Both sides are now weighing their options and talking negotiations.
