Kendrick Lamar Will Be Performing At The Grammys

Confirming the news via Twitter, Kendrick Lamar officially announced he'll be hitting the stage at the 2013 Grammy Awards. As Kendrick is also nominated for 7 Grammy awards, seems like the rapper's rapid success over the course of this year is being well reflected across the board.

K. Dot recently spoke on all his Grammy nominations stating that it's all mind blowing to him, "It feels great. I got some of the best fans, the best family, the best radio stations supporting me, and that’s who I owe it to at the end of the year,” he told Power 106. “[good kid, m.A.A.d city] is a really raw album, there’s not too much crossover. So for them to even put it in that light, that’s a win by itself. So if I take it home that’s even more of a crazy feeling.”

Kendrick is up for seven awards, including Best New Artist and Album of the Year, which if won, would make him the third ever hip-hop artist to win Album of the Year.
