Logic Grabs Hit-Boy, No I.D. For Debut Album

Logic sat down with HotNewHipHop.com recently and spilled some details on his upcoming debut album for Visionary Music Group/Def Jam.

"The album. Expect the album," he said about his plans for 2014. "Been working on it with my homie 6ix, with C-Sick, with No I.D., working on it with Hit-Boy. I'm just very happy and blessed, I can't believe this is what I do for a living."

Logic—a 2013 XXL Freshman—has been on tour with Kid Cudi, Tyler, The Creator and Big Sean this Fall, and is back in the studio. In the interview, he also spoke about race issues that come up for him (Logic is biracial), as well as his own strategy breaking out of the DMV scene. "[DMV has] incredible hip-hop artists, actors, singers, and it's awesome," he said. "Instead of trying to blow up in my city, I figured I would just go for the entire world."
