Yesterday, we broke the news that Joaquin Phoenix did not produce Pusha T’s “King Push.” Less than 24 hours later, Pusha is now claiming someone else was behind the boards for his impressive introduction to My Name Is My Name.

During a recent interview with Rap-Up, Pusha says the producer was the son of Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich. “I believe it is the son of Lars Ulrich from Metallica,” he says. “I hope I’m not wrong this time. It was mistaken because it came from Joaquin.” Its a little hard to believe him, though, as he quickly jumbles his words so it's not a definite answer.

Whether or not Joaquin or Ulrich’s son produced it, the track is still hot. We’ll just wait until October 8 rolls around and find out for ourselves.
