Danny Brown unleashed the first visuals for his upcoming album Old, due out September 30 on Fool's Gold Records, and it is incredibly awesome. The painting—done by Leila D'Amato—shows Danny in some sort of military regalia like you'd see on the cover of an old Stratego board game, but instead of the ridiculous Marshal or Colonel hats his hair is out there and blowing in the wind. And then there's that little Salvador Dali-esque melting going on...we'll let the songs on the album help describe that aspect. Design and layout were handled by Sam Chirnside for Doubleday & Cartwright, according to Brown's reps. Here's hoping the album itself lives up to the artwork on the cover.
