Coolio Skates Charges From April Domestic Dispute

Coolio is breathing a sigh of relief after serious charges were dropped against the '90s era rapper in an alleged beating incident that involved his former girlfriend, reports TMZ. Today, a judge threw out the charges after prosecutors failed to prove Lo's ex, Anabella Chatman's account of the events.

The original charges stem from an incident that happened back in April. Coolio reportedly brought an alleged side piece to the home he shared with Chatman. Then, reportedly, stuff got real. Chatman claimed an argument ensued resulting in the rapper pushing her to the ground and punching her in the face. She also said the rapper hit her with the car as he fled the scene with their young son. Coolio was later arrested and claimed victim in the altercation. According to the report, prosecutors failed to stick the charges on Coolio because Chatman's story kept altering.
