On this week's cover of Billboard Magazine, Drake is featured on the cover and in the issue's feature story offers his opinion on the Kendrick Lamar verse that every rapper in hip-hop is speaking on this month.

"It just sounded like an ambitious thought to me." Drake told Billboard in the magazine's feature story. "That's all it was. I know good and well that Kendrick's not murdering me, at all, in any platform. So when that day presents itself, I guess we can revisit the topic."

Drake also spoke on his newly-formed boutique label, OVO Sound, in regards to issues that may arise as an artist overseeing the careers of others.

"Being an artist that's signed to another artist, I understand how much of a representation I am of that artist," he explained. "So I want to be extremely selective. I want artists who are, first and foremost, genuinely good people who are good to be around, and second, who have pure talent and will make me look smart for signing them."

Drake's third album, Nothing Was The Same, will be released into stores on September 24. Drake is also on this month's cover of XXL which you can pick up in stores now.
