With over five years in the game bubbling on the underground scene, Cali’s Casey Veggies is almost ready to break through the soil. If his previous output including the acclaimed mixtape, Life Changes, are any indication of his potential, the Roc Nation-managed rapper may have some good seasons ahead of him. While recently in Denver, Colorado, Veggies sat down with KarmaLoopTV’s Carrisa Rossi and talked about his growth as an artist since the release of his mixtape, Customized Greatly Vol. 3 and what that could mean for his debut. “I think I just grew up a little bit. And I was trying to make more mature music,” he said. “I was just coming up with a new sound. I think it was a good look for me just to try something new and just have fun with it.”

The former Odd Future member also talked about his, still untitled, debut which is slated to get released in the first quarter of 2014. According to Casey the album will be worth the wait. “I’m working real hard on it,” he said. “It’s going to come out the top of next year. I don’t have a title yet, but it’s going to be a classic. It’s going to be a great album.”

CV also touches on the new clothing label he co- founded with Anwar Carrots and Joshton Peas, Peas & Carrots, and his upcoming tour with Travi$ Scott. Check out the entire clip, below.
